Maryland General Assembly

The Maryland General Assembly is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Maryland that convenes within the State House in Annapolis. It is a bicameral body: the upper chamber, the Maryland State Senate, has 47 representatives and the lower chamber, the Maryland House of Delegates, has 141 representatives.

Maryland Constitution

The Maryland Constitution is the state constitution of Maryland. Depending on the nature of your case, it may provide rights that extend further than the U.S. Constitution. 

Current Maryland Constitution

The current Constitution of the State of Maryland, which was ratified by the people of the state on September 18, 1867, forms the basic law for the U.S. state of Maryland.

MD Constitutional History

Maryland Code

The Maryland Code is the statutory compilation of Maryland's laws currently in effect. The unannotated code is the code itself without comments or citing references. Annotated codes may contain citing references such as cases construing code sections and links to other resources relevant to that section of the code.
