A book drop — card-accessible any-time by WCL students, faculty, and staff — is now located in the Yuma Lobby. Please see this map for directions.
Please do not place loaner laptops or trash in the book drop.
If you need to make special arrangements to return material, please contact email@example.com
Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service that allows current WCL faculty, students and staff to borrow books and other materials from libraries around the world, including American University's Bender Library, when they are not available in the Pence Law Library. The Pence Law Library ILL service is available only to current WCL faculty, students and staff.
Interlibrary loan requests should be for the support of research, curricular, scholarship or teaching needs. Personal and pleasure reading requests should be made at your public library. Personal and pleasure reading requests made through Pence may be billed at $25.00 per transaction.
Please check for your item in these resources before making an interlibrary loan request:
There are 2 ways to request items through interlibrary loan:
WCL Users can request items by using the WorldCat Catalog:
Use WorldCat to find your item and automatically then click "Borrow this item from another library" and enter the required information (name, email, AU ID and phone number).
You can also email requests directly to firstname.lastname@example.org, please include as much information as you can about the resource you are requesting
If you would like to renew items requested through interlibrary loan, please email email@example.com.
All renewals are subject to the policies and final decision of the lending institution. We will make every effort to renew your items or find replacement lenders.
Please note, that you CANNOT renew ILL items through your library account on the library's homepage. You must email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We only lend to non-profit institutions. Non-OCLC libraries who wish to borrow from our library may make requests via email (email@example.com).
We no longer accept interlibrary loan requests from non-OCLC libraries via ALA interlibrary loan forms, fax, telephone or email.
If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
