Join us for First-Gen Friday on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM. This special pre-orientation program is designed for incoming law students who are among the first in their families to attend college or law school, are first-generation immigrants, or are navigating higher education and professional spaces independently.

Whether or not you consider yourself "first-generation," if you believe you would benefit from this community, you are warmly welcome. 

This event is hosted by the Offices of Academic Excellence, Admissions, Inclusive Excellence and Leadership Development, Student Affairs, and the ADVANCE student organization. The program offers: 

• A chance to begin building your peer network 
• Stories and strategies from current and former first-gen students 
• Connections to the people and offices that will support your success
