When speaking of racial justice it is impossible to overlook the impact that mass incarceration has on the black community. Mass Incarceration is a manifestation of systemic racism i n America. It is considered to be an extension of chattel slavery . According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) Black men are 6 times more likely to go to prison.
