Websites: Advocacy & Policy Organizations

Advocacy organizations often maintain websites that feature archives of information on various topics in the field of education law.  While the information, research, and findings published on these websites are likely slanted to reflect each organization's respective point-of-view, the websites can prove valuable for researchers in the field and provide a great starting point for complicated research quandaries.  The below organizations are some of the more prominent advocacy organizations in the field of higher education; this list does not reflect all relevant organizations, however.

Professional organizations--for educators and other professionals in the field of higher education--often maintain websites containing information relevant to their respective members and interests.  As with advocacy organizations, professional organizations generally operate from a specific perspective; as a result, researchers should be careful to identify any bias inherent in a particular orgnaization's publications.  The organizations below represent some prominent professional organizations in the field of higher education; however, this is a non-exhaustive list.
