How to Tab Your Bluebook

The Bluebook is a legal citation guide. You will use it in Legal Rhetoric, throughout law school & in your legal career.

Many students tab their Bluebook to make it easier to use. Creating a tabbed or visual guide means you won’t have to memorize the location of each rule or search though the index each time.

This is a guide for tabbing the most-used rules and tables in the 21st edition.
