Major Bar Review Companies

This is a nonexhaustive list of companies that specialize in preparing students for the bar exam. Please note that these are the companies that concentrate on multiple states and operate nationally. Each jurisdiction may have a separate company that caters to that region or state.

Barbri
Barbri is the most recognizable of the bar review companies. They offer multi state review as well as individualized state review as well. Each of their programs is tailored to the jurisdiction. They have both online and in-person courses. Every Wednesday during the school year Barbri representatives are available at WCL to answer any questions about their review services.
Bar Outlines
Offers preparation materials provide you with exactly what is tested on the exam. They can be used exclusively for self-study, or as a supplement to a full bar review course such as BarBri or PMBR.
FindLaw Bar Exam Resources

Kaplan Bar Exam Review
Kaplan Bar Review offers a full range of courses tailor-made for individual needs. Choices include their Complete Bar Review, LLM Bar Review Courses, and a variety of Multistate Bar Exam Courses and Supplements.
PMBR
PMBR is meant to supplement traditional bar review courses. It focuses primarily on the MBE multiple choice exam.
Themis
Themis is the only major bar review course developed to be completely online. The lectures are presented in concise, 20-minute chapters followed by a series of assessment questions to help improve retention and recall of the material.
Offers a flexible online Bar Review Course for various jurisdictions.

SeRiouS
Provides another layer of bar exam review using a concept called "spaced repetition". From their website: "Our method - spaced repetition - is the single most effective technique for memorization. AdaptiBar
Their Online MBE Simulator & Prep course focuses on the MBE portion of the bar exam and uses actual questions from past exams written by the National Conference of Bar Examiners.
Write for the Bar
Write for the Bar is an adaptive learning environment designed specifically for the written portion of the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE).
